Still looking X a place to move to in S. America!!

Hello, everyone!! As an introduction, I was born in Colombia, SA., but I consider myself to be very much of an American---costumes, culture, schooling, politics, etc. I arrived in the States at age 13, and have never been back to Colombia. I Was raised by nuns in a convent school until age 12.5. The only place I remember of Colombia, was the convent school I attended. went to school at Marist from which I graduated, and also went to school at the Sorbonne in Paris. I've been married to a most wonderful man whom I adore; he worships the ground I stand on, or something like that.....We have a most wonderful marriage. We met back in 1995, while we were both doing a spiritual retreat in Montana. At the end of the retreat I broke my left leg while biking. He had already left the retreat, and because we were both there for spiritual reasons, we didn't pay attention to each other. In fact, we never spoke with one another during the retreat. unbeknownst to him and to me, his parents took me in--Until I finished doing my physical therapy. About one month before my return to NY, he came to visit his parents late at night. I was already sleep. The following day after taking a shower and not knowing that he was there, I come out of the bathroom with just a big towel wrapped around underneath my arms. We both blushed, but introduced ourselves. I thought, and I still think he is the most gorgeous man GOD has created. Well educated, impeccable moral character, and I'm still smitten by him. He says that within one week, he already knew he was going to marry me. Such a lucky girl I was/am!!! We live in Manhattan, by Grand Central Station. No children, but we used to have a dog-- He was the center of our existence for many years. He is no longer with us. We still miss him dearly......

I was in Costa Rica last year for some dental work. The infrastructure there was not that great, and an Ecuadorian lady I met while I was in Costa Rica (I rented a room from her during my entire stay) said that the infrastructure in Ecuador is much, much better than the one in Costa Rica.
So.....I would like to come to Ecuador, for the purpose of exploring various areas. I don't think my husband will be able to come with me. Here is what I propose:
I would love to meet with a couple or with a single lady, for the purpose of touring Ecuador---Not as tourists, but as potential residents. Meaning.....I don't want to spend just one day in each city. My aim is to spend a few days to a week or even longer, in each area. Whether you are a couple or single lady, we would split the costs---including housing, car rental, food, etc. I happen to speak Spanish fluently. In addition, I have traveled extensively not just in Latin America, but also in South East Asia. Here is what you need to know about me, before you contact me to tell me you may be interested:
I don't smoke, never have, and don't want to be near those that do. I also don't drink habitually. Maybe a glass of wine once per week or per month, or per year. The last time I had wine, was about 9 months ago. I don't want to be around anyone who isl drunk, or who uses foul language. I believe that what you drink, what you eat, what you speak, how one behaves, hugely affects one's chakras. For that reason, I've never been inside a bar. I am far from being a saint. Yet....I cherish peaceful surroundings; there is nothing better for one's health, than to be in harmony with others and to be cognizant of the needs of others. I would never enter a loud restaurant in Ecuador, and demand that they lower the volume of their music. Instead, I would ask to be placed or to be given a table as far away as possible from the loud speakers. Or....As I do at times.....Wear ear plugs.
I think the best predictor for finding out if one's marriage is going to work or not, is to first see if the one you love has similar likes, dislikes, hobbies, spiritual needs, behavior, etc., as you. In that regard, I've been extremely fortunate. I've always said that my husband is hugely more spiritual and more GODLY than me. His answer is that water always rises to its own level.

If anyone out there reading this post thinks that they/she fits the criteria listed above, please don't hesitate to contact me. I do about 2 to 3 hours of yoga in the morning, provided the schedule allows for same. I am flexible. I am also street smart, and I am very comfortable in luxury, as well as in places which although may not be luxuruous, as long as they are clean and comfortable, can be acceptable. As an example, I would find it unacceptable to drive in the middle of the night, looking for a place to stay, simply because places available (unless dangeours) are not at least three or four stars. I trust this is enough information. Again, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Many blessings to all, and thanks for reading.
