Extend A Helping Hand

On a recent Sunday, Maite Duran and her 8 year old son went out for a few hours. When they returned they discovered their house had been extensively robbed: TV,´s, her son´s iPod and X box, 2 computers, 5 suitcases of clothes, shoes, lots of jewelry, money and many other things. They cut the electrified fence and then went in through a window.

To add insult to injury, they came back the next day after Maite left for work. Fortunately, she had had her brother come to stay with her and he spotted them trying to get in and chased them away. And then, so upset and lacking in sleep, she was in a car accident. No one hurt but damaged her car.

Maite has been such a huge help in working with many of us in the expat community to obtain residency visas, that many people have expressed a desire to help out.
