I was just websurfing, and ended clicking on numbio and saw that Ecuador scores real low in quality of life, specifically crime health care and pollution, yet most websites, including this one raves about how great It is to live there. Can someone give me a realistic and unbiased idea on what it is like to live in Ecuador/ I already know that petty crime is a problem in Ecuador and the pollution can be an issue in larger cities such as Cuenca, Guayaquil and Quito, but what is it really like for an expat living there? As a retired person, I don't want to move from a crime ridden, polluted place to another with the same problems, only cheaper.
