Thirty-eight years ago I made my first trip to Ecuador on assignment for international magazines ... now I've returned to live in Vilcabamba and have begun teaching a photo workshop: Vision / Craft / Passion.

Five students attended my first two day intensive and left with new techniques, enthusiasm and a new visual perspective.

Vilcabamba is an ideal place to work on your photo skills: beautiful setting, gracious locals, colorful events, "unique" gringos all make for a plethora of material to document.
