Hi All
Well, I arrived in Machala, yesterday and found an apartment, that I move into tomorrow. But in all my walking around, I have yet to find a good coffee spot. I am thinking Starbucks or Juan Valdez. Anyone know if I am out of luck here, lol.

Try Hillary Deli
De Junio 25 | between Napoleon Mera and Callejon Banaoro.

Or try Coffee Station
Av. 25 de Junio e/ 9 de Mayo

No chain coffee shops like Starbucks

No Sweet and Coffee or Juan Valdez in Machala - hard to believe! I was really happy, though, coming to Ecuador from Seattle, that there are NO Starbucks anywhere in Ecuador. Sweet and Coffee is much better anyway, especially their baked goods.

There are a couple or three Sweet and Coffee shops in Machala but I'm sorry to say that I can't, for the life of me, remember the exact locations.
