Expat assistance and help

I have seen a large number of Expats planning to come to Ecuador alone or as a couple perhaps coming on their first trip. Most lack alot of information and are somewhat unprepared or misinformed.

I came here a few years ago alone, unprepared and without the ability to speak the language. I was naive and unprepared. I made alot of mistakes and I wouldnt wish that experience on anyone. It would have been so much better to have had a friend here to call for help or even just some advise.
My wife and I have a business here now, a comfortable house with a pool and several apartments in and around Guayaquil. We also have a couple of beach houses near Manta. We have cars as well as a motorcycle as I am uncomfortable with public transportation.
Some of the most popular Expat comunities are located in places like Cuenca, if you enjoy the mountains, or Salinas and Manta for those that prefer the beach. Additionally those cities have some of the best healthcare and public transportation. Most expats that choose to live in or near Guayaquil, generally do so more for employment than pleasure, In my opinion, Playas is generally for vacationers and not so many expats retire there.
If you find yourself in a problem or need assistance of any type, I can probably help you. Im not interested in your money. Any assistance you get from me will be free. If I give you a place to stay for a day or two, that also will be free. While many in this forum will give you alot of advise, good and sometimes not so good, few if any, will actually be willing to help you physically or monetarily.
Whether you are recently arriving to Ecuador or have been here for years, if I can help you I will. I can always be found around Manta, or Guayaquil.
Regards, Ed 0979410182 only whatsapp, or by PM.
