Neurologists in Ecuador

We have a friend who has symptoms of having a certain fly that lays eggs on/inside the human body. He says he felt something go into his ear and then venture forth inside his ear canal. He claims to be able to feel the larvae moving around inside his head. Scary and gross...He has been to ENT's whom have
done no testing and just prescribed antibiotics, not believing his story. The antibiotics will not work as our friend says the larvae have built a wall which doesn't allow the antibiotics to penetrate deeo into the ear canal. As you can image, he is desperate to find a neurologist to do an MRI or whatever it takes to get to the larvae asap, as they can eventually invade the brain somehow. Please know I am no doctor, but I do know our friend is in dire need of medical
attention. He speaks fluent Spanish, so language is not a barrier. Although he lives in Manta, he is willing to travel wherever the doctor is located. Thanking you in advance for any information you can lend.
