Hi Melissa,

I somehow thought that you were both presently in Ireland. Melissa, I have been following economic conditions closely in Ireland over the last year and what I am able to determine based on reports from Ireland and correspondence of locals are that the financial conditions are worsening and doing so rapidly. On the other hand all signs here in the U.S. for 2013 look pretty bad as well. There is no compromise here between our parties and that undermines our standing on a global level. One of the determining factors for us certainly will be the cost of living as to weather it goes up or not her in the U.S. and or overseas.

I think we are in a wait and see mode at least till June 2013, at which point we will most likely make a trip for a few weeks to see things for ourselves first hand. Between now and then however, I will be speaking and or corresponding with local Irish officials to determine what things we can complete before hand..

I am not sure how to set up the network either. :) I will look into that for I think it will be helpful to have actual contacts in Ireland. I also realize that information I receive from locals will need to be verified and or double checked for I know at this present time Irish locals are VERY skittish about foreigners coming over to Ireland with fear that the foreigners (even fellow Euro community members) will only further deplete their limited resources. It feels like walking a "tightrope" right now.
