I need advice for living in Dhahran as a woman

I'm a 22 year old digital animation student, Hungarian, but I've been living in Canada for 10 years now. My boyfriend is from Saudi Arabia and he works for Saudi Aramco. We met in Calgary over a year ago, since he's been working on a project here and next month he's leaving to go back. Things got serious between us and we decided we want to stay together. The only way that's possible is if I move there after I finish school in 6 months so that's what we decided on. We'll be living in Dhahran, but since he comes from a well respected tribe I will not be an exception for being a "westerner" and will have to live the life of a Saudi woman. He's a real good guy and his family is apparently pretty accepting, but still they'll be extremely opposed. Also, he's tried his best to make it seem like it'll be the worst place in the world for me to live, to make sure I am not surprised but I'd like to know what I should expect, to hear some other people's advice and opinion. Thank you.
