This report was obviously posted by a member of the office staff. This school is Korean-owned and most of the parents and students are Korean. It is a very small school with no formal sports teams, or participation in sports leagues. My child is not Korean, and she had difficulty making friends here.

Who wrote this? It cant be a parent ... the school is owned by Koreans, enough said. Think current enrollment is about 70 from nursery to grade 12 so agree with guest poster about finding it difficult to make friends, most grades average with 3 or 4 students. And most of them are Korean students. Great if you are Korean, not so if you come from anywhere else in the world. Headmaster lovely and hard working but not much else positive to report.

I agree with both guest posters. The report had to have been written by staff. The above report is an advertisement. How can Koreans be expected to operate an "American" International School. I toured the campus once. Nice buildings, but none of the activity that I have seen at other schools. And the Korean director can't speak English, and couldn't answer any of my questions.

If you are looking for a used car, then Noblesse would be the place to find the salesman. Everything written here is fabricated. Ask yourself, do you want your child to go to a school where the headmaster praises himself and passes it off as the comment of a parent? I don't.

The report is clearly written in a biased way, research the school properly before sending your child or considering working there -

This school is dead in the water. Noblesse International School was built for 500 students but enrolment has never risen above 80. Eighteen months ago, they had a sex scandal which involved a young student and an unqualified western ESL tutor who was hired without checking references or a background check. The staff were told to 'shut up' and the scandal was hushed up and the tutor was fired, although everyone in the local community is aware of the issue. Eight months ago a teacher who attempted to complain to authorities about the scandal was arrested for liable and had to flee the country. The principal John Boakes was subsequently let go in August of 2011 and the school continues without western leadership. It struggles under its director, a Korean named Chairman Lee who cannot possibly run the school because he speaks neither English or Filipino. The school website clearly reveals a weak faculty, with few actual teachers listed and some in teaching positions without a clear teaching qualification. This school seems to cater to parents who have troubled children unable to fit in at well-run schools.

As the new Headmaster of Noblesse, I invite everyone to review our school website (nis.com.ph) and visit our campus. A very supportive School Board, strong teaching staff, cooperative parents, and well-behaved students make for a very positive campus-experience.

I had two boys here for 2 years. A horrible mistake. Exclusively a Korean school. Prior headmaster was good but got into some trouble on the personal front. His replacement is a twerp named Chiles. Comically poor judgement. I pulled my boys. The school is a vanity project for some rich guy named Lee. A money loser for good reason. About 8 years in they have about a hundred kids, 20% capacity. The market has spoken. Avoid like the plague.
