Mactan/Dumaguete

We are a retired couple (Filipina & American) and are planning to move to the Phil. I have been browsing through real estate in the Mactan area. We are active (60s)and would like to join tennis, fishing, golf groups - do you have these groups in Mactan? Security is important to us - I'm looking at condos or gated community. I would prefer an existing house in a good location. Early next year is our target date. Any comments?
