How long do you need to exit the Philippines before you can fly back in?

Hi everyone hope somebody can help me here. I got stuck here in the pandemic and have never had to exit the Philippines yet. How long does somebody have to leave the Philippines for before you can fly back in order to reset your visa clock on a tourist visa? Many people are saying, just fly out for 24 hours and then fly back in. But I feel that would look rather strange, considering I'd been in the country for up to four years. Would it be better for me to fly out for, say, 6 days somewhere, and then come back in Or doesn't it really matter? I haven't had the opportunity to explore the Philippines at all as I came at the wrong time. And then. got terribly sick with COVID so many times I've lost count. My hope would be to fly out and come back in in order to finally start to explore some of the Philippines. But my concern is what happens when I return in? My stay is up to date. I had to apply for visa extensions due to my ill health, but everything has been regularized.

Considering my plan is to come back into the Philippines to explore it properly I don't want to take all of my equipment with me and pay for excess baggage for just a 5 day trip. So my plan would just to leave this here. and return back to it. However, I'm a bit concerned because what happens if for some reason I get back into the airport and they won't let me re-enter? How do I get my stuff?

Perhaps I'm overthinking this, but considering what I've gone through in the last four years here, anything is possible. So I do. hope somebody can put my mind at rest or give me some good suggestions as to how I tackle these issues. Many thanks for reading.
