Is there a lot of crime in Italy?

Answer this Question

We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"The crime rate in Italy is relatively low compared to other European countries. Most crime in Italy is non-violent, with pickpocketing and purse snatchings being the most common. Organized crime continues to be a problem in certain parts of the country. Theft is a frequent problem, with car thefts in particular being an issue in major cities such as Rome and Milan," remarked another expat in Italy.
