What do people like (and dislike) about Japan?
When we asked expats and global nomads what they like and dislike about living in Japan, they replied...
"Expats and digital nomads often appreciate the culture and politeness of Japan, as well as the efficient public transportation system. They also enjoy the variety of food options, from traditional Japanese cuisine to international dishes. On the other hand, some expats and digital nomads find the language barrier and cultural differences to be challenging. Additionally, the cost of living in Japan can be quite high, making it difficult for some to afford," explained one expat living in Japan.
"Tokyo is a city with a history, beautiful environment, convenient living and high medical level. There is a lot of emphasis on education. The locals are very good, very rigorous and not very talkative," said another in Tokyo, Japan.
