Filipina partner for serious relationship do's and don'ts.

There are several ways for a foreigner to meet a Filipina. 1) The most popular way is through a website. There are many websites. Cherry Blossoms, Heart of Asia etc... This is a very easy to meet someone to communicate with but not so easy to end up with a successful relationship. Don't get me wrong there are many members on this forum that have met Filipinas this way and have successful relationships. There are many more that have not been successful. Why? Dishonesty. Have you ever heard the line; If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, make an ugly women your wife. If you choose a hot beautiful women to communicate with, how many hundreds of others do you think are also communicating with her? If you use a webcam (preferred way of chatting daily or weekly) make sure you get to see a full body shot of what the girl looks like at least once. A common thing that happens is the girl eventually asks for money. To help a sick relative; pay tuition, pay rent, so she can stop working; or some other emergency. It may be as a monthly allowance. She does this with 2-10 different guys. At $50-$200 each guy, she makes out very well. She makes sure the if the guy comes to visit her it doesn't overlap with her appointment book of other visitors. This con can go on for several years. It takes time to build a relationship and to do Visa work. Someone eventually breaks up with someone and the game continues. 2) Introduction by a friend / friend of a friend etc. 3) Self introduction by approaching someone (in a store, on the street or in a Church). Where ever you meet someone; find out everything you can about them. A lot of communication. Over time find out everything you can about them. Where they live or lived: parents live, relatives lives, what they do everyday, budget, where does it come from, boyfriends in the past? When you visit her surprise her on the date if not on your first visit do it on your second visit. Go to her place of work and hangout without her preparing for your visit, Meet her family, let her neighbors all see you. Keep your eyes open for red flags. So many foreigners have been fooled. The girl might be nice and honest but her friends or family are leading her on what to do to take advantage of the situation. Keep your eyes open for deceit.
